All consignments for shipping to Dubai require a packing list or inventory. If you have chosen our packing service, then our export wrapping team will provide an inventory for you. If you have packed any boxes yourself, you will be required to provide a inventory for each box.

In order to clear goods through customs in Dubai you must be present in the country and hold a valid residence permit. All shipments are inspected at port of arrival and at the discretion of the customs office.
Books, DVD’s, and other literature may be detained by customs for screening and you will need to await for approval from the Ministry of Information in Dubai. Please note that new items will attract duty of 5%.
A copy of passport is also required. |

| Part Load overseas shipments are mainly shipped through the ports detailed below, however this may vary. Dedicated containers will be shipped to the nearest sea port and we will be happy to advise you of transit times. |

| The times stated above are for time at sea, please also allow for customs clearance and delivery upon arrival at port. Again our move managers will be happy to advise on delivery times but as a general rule we would estimate 7-14 days for part load deliveries depending on the area in Dubai. |
