All consignments for shipping to Singapore require a packing list or inventory. If you have chosen our packing service, then our export wrapping team will provide an inventory for you. If you have packed any boxes yourself, you will be required to provide a inventory for each box.

We will also provide you with a “ Declaration of Facts” form to complete and will require a copy of your passport picture page is also required, along with a delivery address and telephone number. Other documents we require for shipments to Singapore are a Employment Pass and Immigration Entry Permit. If your employment pass is being processed by the Manpower Ministry in Singapore, customs will accept a copy the pass application duly receipted by the manpower ministry.
Alternatively you can provide us with a letter from your employer confirming your employment and also an undertaking from the employer to pay any GST chargeable in the event that the employer pass is not granted or employment is not taken up.
Although Singapore is a free port, all items are subject to a 3% goods and service tax. Singaporeans, permanent residents and expats with an employment pass may seek GST exemption.
Shipping alcohol is not advised and if shipped will incur additional charges for customs clearance and duties of up to S$30 per litre. |
